To reward service to citizens and motivate public servants worldwide to sustain the momentum of innovation and the improvement of the delivery of public services and disseminate successful practices and experiences in public administration in order to support efforts for improvements in country level public service delivery and to promote, encourage and facilitate networking among individuals and organizations relevant to public services.

Her passion however, was to divert her attention to be a fair and just financier to the poor mans world rather than being the financial professional and banker she was to the lucrative commercial world. Hence, she wishes to make maximum use of her unique combination of banking, accounting and corporate administration skills, knowledge and vast experience towards this divinely led project-micro financing to the unreached poor that is close to her heart throughout the world. In appreciation to her service to the poor, she is conferred with the “Best Social Activist Award” for the year 2012.

Devegowda I K Gujral, Madhu Dandavate, Ramakrishna Hegda, Sharad Yadav, Lalu Prasad Yadav, Biju Patnaik, Nitish Kumar, Rahul Gandhi, Sonia Gandhi etc. He is a writer used to write regular articles in the dailies. He has written 30 books in Tamil. His historical novel.“Chembiar Tilakam” was adjudged as the best Tamil Novel in 1985. Despite his age he contribute much to the society. In view of his contribution to the society he has been adjudged the “Social Activist Award” 2013 by Mother Teresa Charitable Trust.
